I have seen there are already some blogs around, but didn’t feel they give the beautiful Skreda real justice.
They have a company focus, with main focus on fishing.
There are so much more to do in Skreda than fishing, so I wanted to start a blog for all the nature lovers out there, and not only for the hard core fishermen/women.
My intention is to give all of you info about the happenings in Skreda like:
- Weather. (Yes, the Lofoten weather can vary a lot, and is not for the people who can’t exist without stable weather.)
- Northern light and midnight sun.
- Animals and birds seen in the neighborhood (which varies with the season).
- Fishing. (Yes, some fishing also we will cover, but the cocktail kind of fishing, not hard core. :))
- Mountain trips (easy ones and upwards).
- Photos of the beautiful Skreda and surroundings. (You can’t have enough of them, either in good weather or bad weather. It can look spectacular before or after a storm.)
- Updates about how Skreda grows (there are still land for sale to build cabins on).
What’s the catch for us in doing this?
- Skreda and Lofoten is worth it!
- Me and my partner have two fishing cabins; one we are renting out already, and one rorbu which we are building at the moment and will rent out in the future.
